Early inspiration for smile was provided by looking at an image of a ballerina poised elegantly yet controlled. In brief from the early stages of development was to ensure the upholstery remained as minimal as possible but still retain maximum comfort “many chairs that often look great sometimes perform poorly when it comes to the sit” by contouring the seat and back, the forms in smile encapsulate and support the body, ensuring greater relaxation over a longer period.

Smile is simplistic and timeless in its form and lends itself to a multitude of environments, be it corporate office, domestic, or restaurant dining.
